FINALLY

 

a new post =] yay. sorry it’s been so long, i promise i’ll blog more next quarter!

Hmm.. so since fall quarter ended, i guess i’ll just [try] to go through each week [if i can remember it that is haha]. lets seeee: 

Week 0: Welcome week! i really don’t remember too much about it other than meeting new people, hanging out with arielle a lot, the mesa-middle mixer, awkward yellow canaries, trying to find classes, and then i went to UCSD that saturday =]

Week 1: All i remember is me studying bio a lot, and actually attending the kababayan meeting 

Week 2: More studying and homework, Hip Hop Dance class [the last one i went to LOL], kababayan, UCSD again

Week 3: Catherine Zeta Jones and Aldea Bonfire! yay. the first time i actually got close with people from my hall. hahah. shocktoberfest! I waited in line forever to get a wristband and I didn’t even end up going hahaha. funfun. oh and bio midterm #1 -_- and my first college F! hahaha

Week 4: Went to Roscoes and Downtown Disney with Phan and Lisa, Korean BBQ with the few people that stayed at my hall on the weekend. yummyyy.

Week 5: Humcore Midterm [B!], Trick-Or-Treating in Newport, UCSD sleepover

Week 6: Waking up at 6 AM TWO DAYS to do the stupid housing application. and they lied about it being “first come, first serve” -______-

Week 7: Diego’s Birthday, Bio Midterm #2 [my 2nd college F!], my first [and hopefully last] speeding ticket [$286 bucks. damn CHP bitches.] bought my disneyland pass!! my smartest purchase in college! then UCR for the weekend! we went all the way to pasadena for chicken and waffles. yummyy. then to hollywood.

Week 8: Picked up hava from CSULB and went to roscoes. thats all i remember lol

Week 9: the stress of the final weeks started! humcore essay, chinese essay, chinese workbook, bio reading that I didn’t do…

Week 10: I think all i did was procrastinate and do my humcore essay. then HARD CORE bio studying started friday, which involved rolling deep and pushing it to the max in the science library

finals week: ehh too stressful. bio, bio, bio, and more bio. and i still got a freaking F on the damn thing.

So yeah, sorry if that was boring, but I really don’t remember much about any week. hahaha. And then I got my grades:

Sooo that looks like fun.. right? hahah. I already bought all my textbooks for the grand total of $600. Physics Class + Lab alone cost me $320. ridiculous… but It’s going to last me for 3 quarters, so I guess it’s not too bad..

Other than school stuff, Break has been pretty good. It’s nice to just hang out with people even though we never really know what to do [angeline] hahaha. I’m sure more disneyland trips are to come, and hopefully knott’s berry farm!

bored

dengit. lately i’ve been so bored. i’ve been trying to pack for UCI but its not going too well -_- i guess im more of a last minute packer. sigh, oh well. now im just waiting for my stepmom to call me so i can head over to my dads house. my aunt and uncle from LA are visiting. yay. and possibly my brother again. omg so the other night i watched the BEST movie ever! its called “the love of siam” its soo good! definitely one of my favorites now. it sorta makes you think. haha. its not your typical romantic-drama film x]

but anyway. so now theres only 8 more days until I go off to irvine. i’m somewhat nervous and somewhat excited at the same time. Obviously im excited because its college, and im sure theres going to be a lot of good times! but im nervous because i dont think im going to know what to do when i get there and i move in. and then im not really the greatest in completley new social situations -_- i mean, im fine if people approach ME and start talking.. but when i’m the one that has to start the conversation and stuff.. ehh not so good. haha. but ill work on it :] maybe ill meet up with some of the people i met on facebook and then go from there…

alrighty, i guess thats it for now. not much else to say. this entry was just kinda random to collect all my thoughts from the past few days haha.

Damn

So i took my car into the dealer yesterday and the want $1552 to fix it. WHACK. My mom told them to go ahead and do it, although I think it’s a waste considering how crappy of a car it is. I would have been better off just getting a new one awhile ago. sigh. But oh well. I’m thankful at least my mom is going to pay for it all and that my car will probably last me a couple more years. I think i’m gonna plan on buying my new car in about 2 years. I just need a job with a steady monthly income first so i can take out a car loan and actually pay it off. hmm. Oh well.. I’ll just worry about all that later x]

The only downside about this now is that i’m most likely for sure going to have to pay for my own textbooks. boo. I didn’t want to tap into my loan money that i took out just for dorms, but what can you do right? I guess I can at least TRY asking my mom to pay for my textbooks, and if she says no then whatever. i’ll do what i can -___- I think college should be free. or at least textbooks…

Other than that, lifes been pretty boring and uneventful. only one more day of these stupid construction guys having to be at my house. thank goodness. im so sick of waking up all early to let them in.

12 more days =]

Awkward..

So I arrive at my dad’s house just now, and my brother is there. Considering they haven’t spoke for about 8 years and they basically went through this big drama/hate thing with each other, i found it somewhat awkward. I mean, I’m glad they’re trying to reconnect and stuff, but I just wonder how he’s going to react tomorrow when he sees my stepmom and my baby brother. hmm. weird.

Other than that, today was pretty fun :] I got to meet Angeline’s new roomate and some of her friends and we hung out and did all the same old convoy stuff. Oh and angeline’s sister and kevin kim came along too… oh lord. Annamarie tried to fit lily in my trunk WHILE angeline’s mom was watching, so I their mom called angeline and wanted to speak with me. I thought I was about to get yelled at -_- but it was all good. especially since it wasn’t even my fault. and then KEVIN KIM with his “WE’RE GOING TO THE CHOURUS!!!” scared the crap out of me and angeline hahah!

Then after me and nika just hung out at angelines house, and watched this dumb predictable movie “what happens in vegas”. lameeee.

So basically, since summer is starting to come to a close we all need to start hanging out more! so make plans, ok? =]

Tomorrow my grandpa from west viriginia is coming to visit… this should be fun. x]

Hmm

Alright, so I decided to start blogging again. And what better place to do it than wordpress, where most of my friends are already! Yay for peer pressure and trying to fit in..

Anyway. 17 more days until I move in to UC Irvine. It’s pretty crazy. Part of me is nervous, the other part excited, and the last part super stressed. I’m glad I’ll at least know a few people going in.. so at least the transition will be a bit easier.

The money part stresses me out so much! I mean, I’m already basically 15,000 Dollars in debt, since my mom refused to help pay for anything [it might have been helpful if she told me that BEFORE I sent in my SIR...]. But I don’t know how I’m going to pay for anything else–like textbooks especially. I mean sure my mom is nice for buying me my parking permit [675 dollars], but it’d also be nice if she could just throw in a little extra for other misc things so I don’t have to take yet another loan out. I’m sure once I get a job things will get a little easier, but for this first quarter i’m basically screwed haha.

Other than that my summers been pretty chill. Just hanging out with friends, helping my mom with the move [thank god THATS over..], working at my old job for one day, etc etc. I sure am going to miss all these carefree days :] But it’s also pretty exciting that we all get to move on with our lives finally. I’m excited to see what everyone’s future holds for them.

Alright I guess thats all for now.. I still need to fix this thing up and add people to my blogroll and stuff =]
